Check out the free 'Designflex II' software that you can download and used to design cost effective, strong and lightweight belt drives for your propeller and fan drive systems. They have high tech belts which can run easily on high speed motors. You will need to give a USA based address to get the download and put up with the old 'Empirical Units' of measure but other than that it is really helpful.
